Thanks to generous funding from local and international entities were are able to continue to develop programming that shares the Romanian language and culture with wider audiences in WA and in the US.

In 2022, ARCS received two grants from the Department of Romanians Abroad.

-$10,000 to support education for Romanian language by investing in technology as such iPads and computers

-$10,000 to furnish our new location by supporting upcoming gatherings and events that promote Romanian culture

4 Culture has also generously granted us $8,000 to bring the 9th edition of the Romanian Film Festival Seattle. 

The Global Competence Certificate for Romanian Heritage Speakers program will continue for a third year.  We received funds from The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to continue our program started in 2020. This program is Free for high school students in WA state.
