The American Romanian Cultural Society in Seattle is accepting applications for the Engaged Romanian American Communities Grant Program

As a heritage non-profit, ARCS is committed to fostering meaningful dialogue and collaborations among the Romanian-American communities on the West Coast, and in the US at large. This grant is being developed in collaboration with Alianța, a Washington DC based non-profit, as well as under the close guidance and monitoring of the Romanian Embassy in the United States.

The Engaged Romanian American Communities Grant develops and strengthens relationships across institutions and organizations in order to promote social change and civic engagement through film, art and heritage education, with an emphasis on the Romanian American and East European cultures.

Who Can Apply?

This grant is for individual applicants, ages 18-25.

ARCS and Alianța give priority to projects that are in their first year of development and have budgets less than $2,000. Special consideration will be given to proposals that have long term viability potential for high impact in the community.

Interested applicants must submit a letter of inquiry by sending us an email at contact@arcsproject.org. The deadline for submission is June 20th 2020. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
